A striking prayer-plant variety, Maranta ‘Silver Band’ is admired for its lush green leaves highlighted by a prominent silvery stripe down the midrib. The contrast between the dark margins and the light center band makes it a visual standout. Like its relatives, it folds its leaves up at night (“praying”), adding gentle motion to its elegance.

💡 Care Tips:

☀️ Light – Prefers bright, indirect light. Strong direct sun will scorch the leaves; light that is too dim will diminish the silver band and slow growth. 
💧 Water – Keep soil consistently moist, but never soggy. Let the top1-inch dry slightly between waterings. Overwatering risks root rot; underwatering shows with wilting or crisp edges.
🌡️ Humidity – Likes high humidity. Humid environments help avoid browning edges. Best kept away from dry drafts, heaters or air conditioners.
